BLAST CHILLERS
In very rare occasions customers handle only dry products and fresh (34°F), meaning they have a big walk-in refrigerator (34°F) but not any freezer.
Since our system requires Ice Packs to keep the proper temperature in the Coolers, and those Ice Packs require a freezer at 0°F to solidify overnight, then this situation seems challenging.
But there are two options to easy and in a cost-effective manner solve the issue.
For small systems, a strong chest freezer will do the job. This chest freezer must be placed inside the walk-in refrigerator to avoid breaking the cold chain.
So, when your truck comes back, at the end of the day, you just put the ice packs inside the chest freezer, and they will be ready in the morning.
But when you have a big system, let said: 12 Industrial Coolers and 144 Ice Packs then the small chest freezer is not an option. You need a big device where you can place 144 Ice Packs inside in an organized manner, and it has the power enough to solidify all of them in 8 hours, so they are ready to use again in the morning.
Such a big and powerful industrial device able to hold up to 200 of our Ice Packs and frozen them in 8 hours is a Blast Chiller, see its picture as follows.
Same as always, the priority is protected that the cold chain does not break, so also the Blast Chiller must be placed inside the walk-in refrigerator for optimal results.
